We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic team in Queensland. The ideal candidate will work closely with our head chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, maintain the highest food quality standards, and contribute creatively to menu development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the kitchen team in preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard.
- Assist with menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas.
- Ensure that kitchen operations run efficiently and food is prepared on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a chef, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or café environment.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- A passion for cooking and creativity in the kitchen.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and handle pressure during peak hours.
