**About the Role:**
As a chef in our team, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering top-notch culinary experiences to our guests. Your day-to-day will involve:
🍴 **Food Preparation & Execution**: Prepare and cook dishes to perfection, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
🍴 **Team Collaboration**: Work hand-in-hand with our kitchen team, assisting in daily tasks and supporting all areas of kitchen operations.
🍴 **Creative Input**: Share your ideas and contribute to **menu development**, helping us innovate and introduce new flavors and seasonal offerings.
🍴 **Hygiene & Safety**: Keep the kitchen running efficiently by upholding strict hygiene practices and adhering to safety regulations.
🍴 **Stock & Supplies**: Help manage stock levels and assist with inventory checks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
🍴 **Problem-Solving**: Be quick on your feet, resolving kitchen challenges to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
**Who We’re Looking For:**
✅ A motivated and passionate chef ready to bring fresh ideas to the kitchen.
✅ **Minimum 2 years’ experience** in a busy kitchen environment, ideally in a café or restaurant.
✅ Excellent understanding of **culinary techniques** and ingredients.
✅ **Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery** is required.
✅ Enthusiastic about contributing to **menu planning** and maintaining food consistency.
✅ Able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced kitchen and thrive during peak service times.
✅ Strong **team spirit** and communication skills.
✅ A commitment to **cleanliness**, safety, and maintaining a top-quality kitchen environment.
